Two tiers photograph well and serve around 30–45 people. Three tiers take you to roughly 60–90 and give the height most couples picture when they say "wedding cake".
For a larger gathering, the honest answer is usually a display cake of two or three tiers plus sheet cakes cut in the kitchen. It costs less than a tower nobody can carry, and every guest still gets served.
Heat, timing and getting it there
Fresh cream is the wrong finish for a long outdoor function in a Jharkhand summer — it softens. We'll tell you when a firmer finish is the right call rather than let a beautiful cake sag on the table.
Tell us the time of the cutting, not just the time of the event. We plan delivery backwards from that, and for tiered cakes we assemble on site rather than transporting a stacked cake over Ramgarh's roads.
How far ahead to book
Two to three weeks for a tiered cake, and more in wedding season, when the same dates get asked for repeatedly. A design we've agreed and blocked out is a date nobody else can take.
