Where we deliver

AVS Bakery delivers to the pincodes listed in the app at checkout. If your pincode is not on that list we cannot deliver to you, and the app will say so before you pay rather than after.

You are welcome to collect any order from the counter instead — Bazar Tand, near Sidhu Kanhu Ground, Ramgarh Cantt, Jharkhand 829122. Open daily · 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM.

Slots, timing and charges

Delivery is by slot, not by exact minute. We aim to arrive within the slot you chose; traffic, weather and festival-day volumes can push us to the edge of it.

Each slot has its own lead time and closes for new orders once that lead time has passed. Late-night and special slots carry a surcharge, shown on the slot before you choose it.

Delivery itself is free on every order, at any value. The only charge that can appear is a slot surcharge, shown on the slot before you choose it, and nothing is added after that.

At the door

Payment is cash on delivery. Please have the amount ready — riders carry limited change.

Please check the cake before you accept it. Once it has been accepted and the rider has left, we cannot take it back (see the returns policy).

If nobody is there, the rider waits 15 minutes and calls you. After that the order is charged in full and held at the shop for same-day collection.

Things outside our control

Strikes, road closures, floods, festival restrictions and similar disruptions can delay or prevent a delivery. When that happens we contact you and either re-arrange the slot or cancel the order at no charge to you.

We are not liable for consequential losses from a late delivery — a delayed cake is a delayed cake, and our liability is limited to the value of the order itself.
