Privacy Policy

What we collect

Your phone number, which is how you sign in. Your name and email if you give them. The delivery addresses you save. Your order history, including what was in each order and any message you asked us to print.

Photographs you upload for photo cakes. Notification tokens from your device, if you allow notifications. Basic technical data — app version, device type, error logs — so we can fix crashes.

We do not collect card or bank details, because we do not take online payment.

Why we collect it

To take, bake and deliver your order; to let the rider reach you; to show you your order history; to send order updates; and to deal with a complaint if you raise one.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising.

Who else sees it

Our delivery riders see the name, address and phone number on your order — nothing more.

Our technical providers process data on our behalf: Amazon Web Services (India region) for storage, Google Firebase for one-time-password sign-in, and the push-notification service used by the app. They act on our instructions.

We disclose data to authorities only when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Photographs you upload are kept with the order they belong to, so that a complaint about it can still be assessed; write to hello@avsbakery.in to have one removed.

You can ask us to delete your account and the data attached to it. Write to hello@avsbakery.in from your registered number or email and we will action it, keeping only what the law requires us to keep.

Your choices

Notifications can be turned off in your device settings; order updates then reach you by phone or WhatsApp instead.

You can view and correct your name, email and saved addresses in the app at any time.

To ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, contact hello@avsbakery.in.

Children

AVS Bakery's app is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and stored on access-controlled infrastructure. No system is perfect; if a breach ever affects your data we will tell you and the relevant authority.
